Call of Duty Mobile will be available for everyone from October 1. The game will be available on both Android and iOS, and is a rival to PUBG MOBILE.

50

It has been a few months since Call of Duty Mobile came in on Android under the closed beta testing phase and was available only for a short period of time before it was taken off. However, publisher Tencent Games is now going to bring the online multiplayer shooting game very soon to both the Android and iOS platforms. And this time, it will stay forever as it is coming under the stable build.

In an official post via social media, the Call of Duty Mobile team had announced a few days ago that the stable version of Call of Duty Mobile is coming soon to both Android and iOS platforms. The game will be available for download via the Play Store and App Store, and it should be there for free. The game shares its DNA with PUBG MOBILE, which is also published by Tencent Games.
While in closed beta, we tried out Call of Duty Mobile and despite being similar to PUBG MOBILE, there were a lot of things that's new for players. The game brings some of the characteristic COD elements from the popular PC titles of the past. And, it also adds its own flair in the mix.

Call of Duty Mobile is in essence quite similar to PUBG MOBILE but it offers the online shooting experience with a classic COD-style twist that we have seen previously in the PC.
Players will get to experience many multiplayer modes. The game will offer a choice between ranked or unranked matches. Underneath that, you can choose between classic COD-style missions such as Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatch, Free for All, Domination, Hardpoint and Frontline.

Similar to PUBG MOBILE, there's also a battle royale mode in COD Mobile. And as usual, a total of 100 players will jump in an abandoned map together and then fight it out to be the last one standing. Players can either be the lone ranger fighting against everyone or they can choose to go out with a group of four.

Update: DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK: TACTICS FOR NVG MODE.

At the end of the day someone has to make the enemies scared of the dark.” – Captain Price, Modern Warfare

One of the many new features within Modern Warfare’s Multiplayer is NVG Mode, where you will play on map variants that require you to go into combat in near-total darkness. On these night map variants, the only sources of light are artificial, which is why your Operator comes prepared with Night Vision Goggles (AKA NVGs).

You may have already experienced NVG Mode if you played the Modern Warfare Beta. But for those who haven’t, or who want to celebrate the spooky season with NVG, we’re here to help you become a true terror in the night.

At the beginning of a match, your Night Vision Goggles will be turned on. You can take them off, or put them back on again, by pressing and holding the same command used to reload (by default).

While wearing Night Vision Goggles, the world will be seen as tints of green, as the technology within the goggles amplifies light – including invisible infrared light – to give the wearer enough light to see in the dark.

These goggles are important to your success in NVG Mode and, in most cases, should remain on throughout the match.

THE RANK UP REPORT #3: SHOOT HOUSE, HARDPOINT, AND KROVNIK FARMLAND

Operation: Rank Up Report #3

Day 21 – 14:04:26 PST

Somewhere in California

AGB – Lead Writer

Since my last Rank Up Report was posted, I’ve spent all week exploring the new community content – the first of many in Modern Warfare.

As my player rank will be well into the triple digits after a few more hours of playtime, here’s how I experienced this new content and how you can continue to improve across all that it has to offer.
One of the first things I did right when the update hit was check out Shoot House in its special Shoot House 24/7 Playlist. I already appreciate a good moshpit – there are a couple of Quick Play filters I’ve made to create my own unique playlists – but this 24/7 playlist was a serious blast.

With a mix of Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Headquarters game modes on Shoot House (and only Shoot House), this playlist gave me tons of experience with this fast, frenetic, and fun map.

If you want a complete breakdown of Shoot House feel free to check out the Tactical Map Guide, but here are a few quick tips I wrote down after sinking hours into it.

Call of Duty Mobile Zombies mode releasing this week

Activision will release Call of Duty: Mobile’s Zombies mode on Friday November 22 (Pacific Standard Time).

“That new Battle Pass will be filled with new loot, new gear, and plenty of ways to make you stand-out, or blend in, on the battlefield.

“On top of that there will be a variety of new content coming out around that same update, like controller support, new limited time modes, and a new classic map.”

The new map in question is Summit, which originally appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops and was remastered for later games in the series.

MODERN WARFARE® TACTICAL MAP INTEL: SHOOT HOUSE

On November 8, the Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® map pool welcomed in a new locale – Shoot House – for standard Multiplayer experiences.

One of the smallest maps for 6v6 play, Shoot House represents a traditional three-lane, fast-paced design that encourages frenetic engagements and high-octane battles.

Here, in our second Tactical Map Intel, we break down this new map so you can claim Shoot House as your own:

MODERN WARFARE® WEAPON BLUEPRINTS EXPLAINED
“I like to keep this for close encounters.” – Gaz, Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare®

Throughout your time playing Modern Warfare – or even before you loaded into your first Multiplayer match – you may have come across a weapon blueprint.

These weapons can offer further cosmetic customization to your Operator’s loadout, along with a few other benefits through its attachments.

Here’s a quick breakdown of this important game mechanic in three easy questions:

What is a weapon blueprint?

A weapon blueprint is variant of a base weapon within Modern Warfare. Weapon blueprints have different names than their base counterparts – i.e. instead of the Model 680, a Model 680 blueprint can be called the 1337 Skeet. Blueprints also can have cosmetic differences, and may come pre-equipped with attachments.

These attachments are given to you on this specific blueprint without needing to level up the weapon to earn them. This way you can utilize specific cool attachments before you earn them by leveling up. You can still earn all weapon attachments organically and swap out – or add – attachments to weapon blueprints that are earned organically through leveling up that weapon.

In other words, weapon blueprints look cool and offer a few attachments you may not already have for that weapon, but can still earn in the long run.

WELCOME TO CALL OF DUTY®: MOBILE THE ZOMBIES EXPERIENCE – AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME
The Return of Shi No Numa

Deep within a sweltering jungle in Japan, the Rising Sun Facility houses a dark secret.

Run by Group 935 and Division 9, this collection of huts looks as if it was just another remote village in the middle of nowhere… Until a distinct growl from creatures of rotting flesh is heard.

It seems that this swamp is another location used for nefarious experiments, and you are right in the middle of a dangerous trap.

This is the swamp of death – Shi No Numa, adapted for Mobile.

Originally a downloadable map in the Zombies mode within Call of Duty®: World at War, Shi No Numa returns in Call of Duty: Mobile. For those who have yet to experience a game of zombies in the Call of Duty universe, here’s a quick primer:

· A session of zombies can be played alone or with up to three other players.

· You and your teammates will begin a game with only a pistol and a knife. These will be used to protect you against the hordes of undead creatures.

· After taking damage, your character will regenerate health if they do not take any more damage for five seconds.

· The roaming undead can appear through windows, which can be boarded up to hinder their progress. Standing near a window will board it up automatically.

· Boarding windows and killing zombies are the two primary ways of earning points. These points can be used to…

Lay of the Land

This luxurious super yacht had its maiden voyage as part of Call of Duty®: Black Ops 2’s Multiplayer map pool, but also shored up in Call of Duty®: Black Ops 3through a reimagined Multiplayer map called Skyjacked, as well as Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4in its original form for the game’s Blackout mode.

For the ultra-rich leisure lover, this ship is nothing short of a spectacular sight from the helipad on the bow (front) to the pool at the stern (back), which are roughly where both initial spawns are in team game modes.

The middle of the ship has a cabana at starboard (right), a jacuzzi and a catwalk at port(left), and at the dead center, a few showers that would be used after a dip in the briny sea.

This middle section is bookended by the stateroom towards the ship’s stern, as well as a dining area, galley, and on-ship office towards the bow. Both multistory areas also have a chute that leads to a passageway down below the ship’s deck through a massive engine room.

MODE RECON: GUN GAME
Play Gun Game, free.

As Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ramps up, expect more free modes, maps, and content to join the fray. For now, practice your aim, polish your weapons, and jump into a match: Gun Game is here!

One of the most exciting modes returning to Call of Duty, Gun Game is a longtime fan-fave. Read on to learn how this frantic, Free-For-All mode is a perfect setting for the aspiring weapons expert in all of us.

In Gun Game, players are tested on their gunfighting proficiency. So, all players start the match with an identical handgun, random attachments, and zeroequipment, perks or Field Upgrades.

That’s right: no Frags, Smoke, Proximity Mines, or Dead Silence here. Your kills depend on your ability to point and shoot with accuracy.

To progress to another weapon from your starting pistol, you must get a kill with it. Eliminate an enemy to immediately receive the next weapon with another set of random attachments. Keep getting kills to cycle through the weapons until you reach your final loadout, that’s a little unique.

The only exception to the “zero equipment” rule appears as part of your very last loadout: a Combat Knife and two Throwing Knives.

And we agree. There are three distinct ways to take home the W in Gun Game:

1. Upgrade all the way to the Combat Knife and execute a Finishing Move.If you’re not already familiar with Finishing Moves, these are accomplished by pressing and holding the melee button. You will execute a devastating kill that’s totally unique to your Operator.

2. Land a kill with the Throwing Knife. This is where your precision is truly tested. Gun Game matches can really pick up speed, especially toward the end, as everyone strives to get that final loadout. It’s no easy feat hitting a moving target with a Throwing Knife, but that’s why this frenetic game mode makes for great target practice.

3. Earn the highest score before time’s up. If no one manages to land a Finishing Move or Throwing Knife kill before the time limit, the player with the highest score takes the win. So, don’t fret if you haven’t reached the last loadout. With perseverance, you could still land at the top of the leaderboard.

Fun with the Gunsmith.

Gun Game is one of the best game modes for familiarizing yourself with Modern Warfare’sunique and powerful arsenal of weaponry.

Each gun in the game comes with distinct attachments. These could be perks, under barrel attachments, optics, muzzle attachments, ammo improvements, and so on. A weapon could sport a combination of all attachments, or a mix of just a few.

No matter which weapon you get your hands on, you’ll be able to get up-close and personal with some fine examples of Modern Warfare’s deep weapon tuning.

XP for days!

Players should expect to cycle through a unique roster of powerful weapons and attachments, including weapons not yet unlocked through gameplay. So, Gun Game has an added benefit: adding to that weapon XP stash.

Any time you kill an enemy, your gun earns XP for later use – even upper-echelon firearms that you haven’t unlocked in Multiplayer.

For instance, earn XP with the AK-47 in Gun Game, and your AK-47 slot will save that XP, even if you haven’t unlocked it yet. Then, when you finally earn the AK-47, voila: you got yourself a head start on leveling up that weapon.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SEASON 1 BATTLE PASS IN MODERN WARFARE

Season 1 brings the first-ever Battle Pass for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare, which delivers over 150 new items for players to earn. As part of the Battle Pass system, you have a select number of items you can earn for free (including two new base weapons, multiple weapon blueprints, COD Points (CP), and other items) simply by playing the game. Or, for ultimate customization, you can elect to purchase the Battle Pass to get access to unlock up to 100 tiers. Read on for more details.

How the Battle Pass System Works

If you’ve checked out the previous video, you should have an initial idea of how the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 1 Battle Pass system works. To reiterate:

The Battle Pass has 100 tiers of content for you to progress through and earn once you’ve purchased it.

To advance through these tiers, you simply play the game, earn XP, and complete challenges.

All three actions (playing the game, earning XP, and completing challenges) contribute to your overall Battle Pass XP, and get you closer to the content you’re chasing.

Note: Though there are 100 Officer Ranks and 100 Battle Pass tiers of content, these two aspects of the game are separate from each other.

Through the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Pass, everyone can unlock and enjoy tiers of free content, and all functional content that has an impact on game balance, including base weapons and attachments, can be unlocked simply by playing the game.
Play the game. Level Up. Earn Rewards.

· Free Tiers (of the Battle Pass system): Everyone can earn over 20 free tiers of content, including two new weapons – the RAM 7 and Holger-26 – just by playing.

· Battle Pass: Players looking for the ultimate customization can purchase the Battle Pass for 1,000 COD Points and get access to unlock up to 100 tiers of content, plus scores of Rare, Epic and Legendary Weapon Blueprints, Operator skins, exclusive challenges and more, and immediately unlocking an all-new Operative Mara.

· Battle Pass Bundle: Purchase to the Battle Pass Bundle and get access to everything you get with the Battle Pass, plus 20 Tier skips which grant instant access to cool, new customizations.

· Tier Skips: Buy individual Tier skips for 150 COD Points.

You can purchase at any time without missing any content. If you choose to purchase the Battle Pass after already ranking up a few tiers, no problem: You’ll immediately be awarded everything from the Tiers you have already unlocked through gameplay.

MODERN WARFARE® TACTICAL MAP INTEL: CRASH

To those veterans who remember the classic map from within the Call of Duty universe: welcome home.

Crash, one of the staple Multiplayer maps of Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare, has returned as part of Season 1 for Modern Warfare. The latest version is set within Urzikstan and is the focal point for Season 1’s backstory.

This is your complete guide to Crash.

Lay of the Land

Crash has the unique distinction of not being a remaster; rather, it is a reimagining of the classic Multiplayer map. That applies not only to some of the new areas you’ll find here, but also its story.

Here’s why you’re fighting here:

Somewhere in an Urzikstan town, the Allegiance have shot down an Al-Qatala cargo chopper carrying chemical weapons. Seeing this blast, members of the Coalition were first to the scene and discovered these deadly weapons.

However, once the Allegiance arrive for their investigation, a conflict over who owns the gas discovered in the downed helicopter ensues.

Crash is this conflict zone; within the confines of this map, you’ll see containers of this gas strewn around the crash site. Familiar buildings may have more detail than you may have once remembered, and sections that were previously sectioned off by boundaries now offer new and exciting ways to engage against enemy forces.

Map Detail

Crash is a medium sized map with a variety of engagement opportunities. Whether it’s long sightlines that lead to sniping battles or intrabuilding close-quarters conflicts, the action here is sure to be fast, frenetic, and fun.

Here are all the map’s zones:

1. Apartment

2. Curved Street

3. Hill

4. Alley

5. Sandbags

6. Courtyard

7. Lamp Shop

8. Pillars

9. Arches

10. Crash

11. Restaurant

12. Generators

13. Pharmacy

14. Broken Wall

15. Passage

16. Overlook

17. Barbershop

18. Electronics

19. Garage

Call of Duty Mobile has just received the new zombie mode update and it brings a host of new gameplay features.

Raid Mode
In the Raid Mode, players will have to face waves for zombies before fighting it out with the boss zombie. Raids offer two difficulty settings: Normal that offers 8 rounds of zombies and Heroic that offers 12 rounds of zombies. At the end of the set number of rounds, you or your team will go through a portal to face off against Abomination boss zombie, which is essentially a dangerous-looking creature. In Hardcore mode, there's another boss found in the swamp areas.

CALL OF DUTY®: MODERN WARFARE® SEASON ONE IS LIVE!

This is the story behind the largest ever content drop in Call of Duty history.
Today marks the beginning of content rich Season One in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, full of Multiplayer maps, Special Ops experiences, and more surprises within the all-new battle pass system.

Here’s what’s waiting for you right now:

New Maps Big and Small

Multiplayer Operators can dive right into two new Gunfight maps – Atrium and Cargo – and an all-new Ground War experience known as Port.
Port: Port is the site of a supposed major shipment leaving Verdansk. Battle against your enemies among the shipping containers, cranes, buildings, and streets that define this unique addition to the Ground War map rotation.

Atrium: The centerpiece of a massive palace inside Verdansk holds a gorgeous atrium that has somehow kept its beauty throughout the war. Don’t admire the scenery too much, however: this palace is an important tactical foothold deep within the city. Gunfights here will take place around this open-air space with a large tree acting as the room’s focal point.

Cargo: The other 2v2 map takes place on the docks of London. With a major shipment set to leave here towards Verdansk, Coalition and Allegiance operators are locked in a Gunfight within the confines of this small, open-roof storage vessel for shipping containers. Wrest control of this dock, and your team will have the honor of stopping these contraband shipments from happening.

Crash Returns

That downed helicopter in the middle of town looks awfully familiar…

Yes, the map Crash from Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare® has returned with a whole new purpose in the greater Modern Warfare narrative.

The iconic helicopter in the map’s center is now the (former) property of Al-Qatala, and both the Coalition and Allegiance are on the ground to intercept the contraband inside.

Although this map has a new home in the narrative, Crash is just how veterans of the franchise remember it with a few twists: flanking routes and those memorable rooftops are back, but there are also some new areas to explore that make this town even more realistic than before.

MEET THE OPERATORS OF CALL OF DUTY®: MODERN WARFARE®: PART 1: COALITION FORCES

Introducing the best in the business; the Operators of Modern Warfare.

As Mara, the newest Operator available in the Season 1 Battle Pass, takes to the battlefield, we wanted to give you an overview of all of the Operators available in Modern Warfare®.

These unique characters – each with their own backstory, nationality, character dialogue, character skins, and cosmetic customization options – have reported for duty as part of one of two opposing factions: Coalition and Allegiance. In Multiplayer, they do battle, but in Special Ops, they will have to put aside their differences and work together as part of the Armistice global taskforce.

At the main Operators menu screen, you have the option to choose either Coalition or Allegiance as your favorite faction or remain neutral and not favor a side. When you queue up into a match, your team may be chosen based on your preferred faction. However, this may not always occur, based on available players and other game elements. If you don’t select a favorite, your faction is randomly assigned.

The Operators menu screen is also where you can preview Operators and any Operator skins you have unlocked.

You begin your Multiplayer and Special Ops career as a Default Operator for either side. This Default Operator changes its appearance based on your Loadout; for example, using a shotgun may cause your Default Operator to don a tactical vest that would be worn for a breach-and-clear mission.

While the Default Operator is pretty cool, you can unlock many of the others through gameplay challenges across all three modes, or purchase new skins for them in the Store, or by unlocking tiers in the Battle Pass.

Outside of the Default Operator, Coalition Operators fall into the SAS, Warcom, and Demon Dogs special forces.

Here’s a breakdown of all Coalition Operators, including their backstories and how to unlock them. Looking for Allegiance Operators? When Nikto arrives later this Season, we’ll introduce the Spetsnaz, Jackals, and Chimera special forces.

Note! If you purchase an Operator skin in the Store or unlock a skin in the Battle Pass the Operator automatically becomes available, even if you haven’t completed his or her associated Challenge yet.

Note! You can unlock more Operator skins in the Store, via the Battle Pass, and by completing Missions in the “Missions & Challenges” menu, as you progress through the Battle Pass.

MODERN WARFARE® TACTICAL MAP INTEL: CARGO

Gunfight serves up the smallest maps in the Multiplayer pool, and Cargo is no different. The locale may seem familiar as it is loosely based on Wet Work from Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare®. If you remember traditional Multiplayer experiences on that map that may come in handy, but Gunfight is a unique tactical and intense mode.

To prepare for your impending skirmish on this battleground, we’ve broken down Cargo in-depth, so read on for more details.

Lay of the Land:

Cargo is an open-air map that takes place in the cargo hold of a ship somewhere at sea. The sounds of the waves and clanking metal can be heard as you traverse this map, but don’t let that distract you from your opponents.

The cargo hold of this ship is dimly lit and filled with containers and boxes, all of which can be mantled on to gain verticality during your match. Plus, the various set pieces can be used for cover, mounting weapons, and some you can even walk through on your way across the map. There are stairs on both sides of the eastern and western spawns that lead to gantries on both the northern and southern sides of the map.

You’ll begin the Gunfight at the back of your respective spawn, completely protected behind a large shipping container. From there, you can choose to go up the stairs (one on either side) or stay on the ground, but once you peek from behind the container you may see the enemy. The center of the map is filled with boxes to crouch behind and mantle over which may offer some protection; however, it is completed exposed to the gantries above. Map Overview:

Cargo isn’t completely symmetrical, so you’ll have different tactical opportunities by going left or right from your spawn. While unique, each pathway provides ample cover for players who wish to rush or flank their opponents.

Heading north from the western spawn if you choose to bypass the stairs, you’ll have two remaining options to duck into the middle or to stay north and go through a shipping container. Bear in mind that the container gives you the best protection from the gantries but looking across the middle gives you the greatest visibility. There are also a few boxes you can mantle along this path shortly before the container that gives you a great look at the southern gantry and flank path. Choose a path or switch it up throughout the matches to catch your opponent off-guard.

Heading south from the western spawn, again bypassing the stairs, you can again duck middle or stay south for a tight path that falls directly below the gantry. On this path, you’ll have visibility straight ahead but not much else so be on alert once you pass the container that juts out into this path for enemies opposite you.

On the eastern side there is an extra container between you in the middle of the playing field. This container shortens the distance between being exposed in the middle and a row of boxes you can use for cover, but it might also slow down an aggressive assault across the center.

If your Gunfight match does go into overtime, the flag will spawn in the center of the map between two cargo containers, on the north and south, and a few boxes around, making it a somewhat protected flag. Armament Advice:

Without zones or objective game modes to cover, we’re breaking down a few ways to use the various weapon types that will appear in your random loadouts.

Here’s some weapon specific tips to playing to the strengths of every weapon class and equipment piece given in Cargo:

· Handguns – Always a good option when precision fire is needed, the pistol fares pretty well when mobility is a player’s game. Try firing your pistol quickly after executing a slide on one of the flanking lanes to see if you can rapidly down a foe. And, remember that switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading.

· Shotguns – Because of their limited mobility it may not be best to take a Shotgun on the gantries. However, utilizing the open containers and tight corners might be a fun way to successfully run and gun with these weapons.

· Submachine Guns – With more range, submachine guns give you the ability to use all of the play space. To minimize recoil, if you find a stable position, don’t be afraid to mount your weapon before firing. Consider taking advantage of the weapon’s agility by adding more movement into your gameplay when handling this type of weaponry.

· Assault Rifles – A versatile class of weaponry will always have its place in any Gunfight engagement. The mid-range capabilities will shine if you choose to take advantage of Cargo’s verticality.

· Light Machine Guns – The slower ADS time of these weapons might make you considering mounting more often than not. Consider using tactical knowledge, strategy, and communication to predict your opponent’s location and ready your fire (or pre-ADS) so you can get your shots of quick.

· Marksman Rifles – While playing with these weapons like standard sniper rifles is definitely option, leaning into their assault rifle capabilities might play best on Cargo. Your approach should be weighed based on your playstyle and tactics of your opponent, but whichever you choose mounting is never a bad idea.

· Sniper Rifles – With the many containers and boxes, you won’t have many clear lanes and straightaways to get off long distance shots. However, the gantry provides fun opportunities as does the area, alongside the boxes, that are in the immediate left and right areas from spawn. Just be careful when you shoot, if you can see your opponent, they can see you.

· Equipment – It’s never a bad choice to chuck a Frag or Molotov across the map as a Hail Mary, but there’s an option to hold back as well. You can use your equipment to gain insight on the location of your foes or to damage and even kill them. Just note that if you do get a hit marker or don’t, the opponent might be at a different verticality than you… so look up and down.

THE RANK UP REPORT #8: NIKTO AND PROGRESSING UP THE BATTLE PASS

Our Lead Writer discovers the new Allegiance Operator Nikto and details some tips for progressing up the Battle Pass.

Kamarov’s newest recruit has arrived in Modern Warfare, and I made him a part of my squad the second he came out this week.

Available through his own store bundle, Nikto is the cold and calculating operator that pledges his allegiance to the Spetsnaz forces.

Ever since he was teased in the opening cinematic, I wanted to learn more about this mysterious badass soldier. What is his identity? Why is he fighting in this new war? And who caused him to hide his face from the world?

You can read more about him in our Allegiance Operator post here, if you’re as curious about his backstory as I was.

Not only did this bundle give me a new Operator, three weapon blueprints, and plenty of personalization options, but also a free Tier skip. That helped me progress further up the Battle Pass; with that Tier Skip, I passed Tier 71, which unlocked the Siberian Tiger Epic Blueprint.

Those with keen eyes saw this Blueprint a minute into the Season One Battle Pass Trailer. Along with its icy camouflage, this Soviet workhorse comes equipped with three attachments – the Thermal Dual Powered Scope, VLK Lightweight Stock, and Bipod Underbarrel – and the Mo’ Money Perk. This Blueprint is, in my opinion, fantastic for Ground War, as the lightweight stock allowed me to get around the massive maps quicker while the optic and bipod let me mount up and pick off distant enemies. As for Mo’ Money, it helped me level up quicker since it gave me XP for every kill earned. In combination with a Double XP token from the Battle Pass, sniping-related Missions, and Officer Rank challenges, that Mo’ Money perk basically helped me skyrocket past the 120s for my Rank.

So, that is my long explanation as to why Nikto is my featured Allegiance Operator this week and why he is holding that ice-cold sniper rifle. As for my Coalition representative, I’ve been rolling with Wyatt ever since I completed his Battle Pass Operator Mission. That Mission unlocks early in the Battle Pass - Tier 10 – as part of the Battle Pass Bundle alongside his Urban Hip outfit.

Here’s how I breezed through his Mission to unlock his Digital and Going Gray skins, as well as a Calling Card and a Quip. Remember: all of these objectives require you to have Wyatt to be your selected Coalition Operator, and they can still be completed even if you’re playing as the Allegiance in a Multiplayer game.

· Get 15 kills using an SMG with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator. I suggest finishing this within a single game where your team winds up winning, as it will help with the second objective.

· Win 2 matches with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator. If you’re having trouble winning games, try playing objective game modes with friends and focusing on capturing objectives.

· Execute 2 Finishing Moves with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator. Finishing Moves require you to hold down the melee button behind an enemy player. To get behind your opponent more easily, try using the Dead Silence Field Upgrade to silence those footsteps, the Tracker perk to hunt down players via footstep trails, and the Ghost perk to remain hidden from UAVs, Radar Drones, and other devices that can reveal your position.

· Get 15 kills while using the Ghost Perk with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator. If you follow the above advice, you may already have a Loadout with Ghost on it. Just use it and breeze through this last objective!

With all this talk about the Battle Pass, you may be wondering how you can quickly progress up tiers to unlock all that content, especially with everything included in the Battle Pass Bundle.

MODE RECON: SNOW FIGHT

A winter wonderland has appeared in Gunfight creating a new way to experience this tactical rich mode: Snowfight. Instead of given weapons at random in this dueling battle, your armaments are Snowballs. Revel in this schoolyard throwback and enjoy a classic snowball fight. Read on to get all details and tips to surviving this chilly battle.

Rules of the Playground

Snowfight plays similar to Gunfight O.S.P. in that you start with no weapons, or in this case no Snowballs. You must pick up Snowballs (don’t worry they are pre-made) then hurl them at your opponents to deal damage.

There are two types of snowballs that deal different amounts of damage. White Snowballs that deal soft damage. You’ll need to land 3-4 of these to eliminate your opponent. There are also Yellow Snowballs which deal 100 damage. A single hit from a Yellow Snowball will decimate a foe, so when throwing these bad boys, aim true.

Snowfight is playable on Gunfight’s Holiday-themed Docks map: Winter Docks Don’t let the festively lit night map distract you from your true purpose here: take out your foes in an intense cage match and win six rounds to claim victory.
Tips for Snowfight

While you may have already gotten a handle on Gunfight, here are a few tips to help you master this mode and its winter wonderland twist:

1. Load Up: Consider stockpiling your Snowballs. You are capable of holding more than one Snowball, so grab a bunch just in case your first doesn’t hit your target.

2. Arc and Follow Through: Throwing a Snowball is similar to throwing a grenade, not shooting a bullet. Try to account for the arc of your toss and the effect gravity will surely have on your throw when aiming.

3. Dodge and Move: Although most Snowballs don’t eliminate you in one shot, Yellow Snowballs do. Be on the move because you never know when a fatal Yellow will be tossed in your direction.

4. Practice: If you’re playing standard Multiplayer, mastering the Throwing Knife or getting sticks with an explosive is excellent practice for a Snowfight. Consider being more precise and direct when throwing lethal and tactical equipment to ease the transition when you play a game of Snowfight.

5. Overtime Rules: The Overtime Flag will go up just like in traditional Gunfight. Employ those same strategies for successful capture or defense of the flag to secure victory.

Stay frosty out there throwing those Snowballs and enjoy Snowfight.

CALL OF DUTY®: MOBILE BOOT CAMP PART 1: GETTING STARTED IN THE GAME

The Call of Duty: Mobile roll out is imminent!

Whether you are a Call of Duty veteran or just picking up a first-person-action game for the first time on mobile, learning the ropes of Call of Duty: Mobile takes less time than you’d think.

Report to Basic Training

Once the app is downloaded, create a Username either through Facebook, e-mail, or as a Guest, and it will drop you straight into the Tutorial. Here, Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley, who Call of Duty fans know from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2®, gives an interactive briefing on the game’s basic controls.

While playing on the map Firing Range, you will learn how to move– by default, this is done by pressing and moving a finger across the left side of the screen – as well as how to adjust the camera – done by moving a finger on the right side of the screen – and how to pick up a weapon.

Once this is done, Ghost will give instructions for picking up, aiming, and firing a weapon using both Simple Mode and Advanced Mode controls.

Simple Mode automatically fires a weapon while you move the on-screen crosshairs over a target with the right side of the screen. As for aiming down sights, this is done with a simple tap of an Aim button. The Advance Mode, meanwhile, requires the pressing and holding of the fire button to aim down sight and shoot.

Ending out the tutorial are the basics of reloading a weapon and how to use a Scorestreak.

Upon completion, Ghost will reward you with a brand-new weapon. Follow the on-screen prompts to equip this new weapon into a Loadout… And get ready for the first foray in Multiplayer.

MODERN WARFARE® WEAPON DETAIL: HOLGER-26

At Tier 15, a free Battle Pass tier sits the Holger-26 - the fifth Light Machine Gun in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare®.

Whether you have spent the time since Season One launch to earn this weapon today, or purchased the Battle Pass Bundle to skip right to unlock it, but have it sitting in your arsenal untouched, the Holger-26 is an underrated – and unexpected – addition to the LMG category.

In our first ever Weapon Detail, we make the case for why the Holger-26 should be in at least one of your loadouts, especially when it comes to its Gilded Weapon Blueprint.

Holger-26 Overview

The Holger-26, in a sentence, is a hybrid weapon that sits between an LMG and an Assault Rifle. It categorizes itself as an LMG thanks to its default 100-round high capacity magazine. However, the magazine is the 5.56 NATO cartridge, the least powerful ammunition type within the LMG category.

Despite its limited stopping power – it will most likely only take four or five shots to down an enemy with the Holger-26 – its small size allows for a high fire rate, a manageable recoil, and some of the best mobility compared to other weapons in this class.

Furthermore, it’s a common ammo type in the game; if your enemy drops a Kilo 141, for example, you can run over it and grab those magazines for your reserves without needing the Scavenger perk.

While the base Holger-26 is already a unique weapon among the LMG pack, its attachments truly make it shine as a hybrid weapon. Unlike any other LMG, its lone ammunition attachment, unlocked at Weapon Level 25, downgrades its ammo count from 100 rounds per mag to just 30. Doing this significantly cuts down its aim down sight speed and boosts your Operator’s movement speed drastically, as your Operator doesn’t have to deal with lugging around a massive mag around the map. It also shortens the reload time.

Paired with its two-barrel attachments, which both reduce its length, the 30-Round Magazine attachment transforms the Holger-26 into a quasi-Assault Rifle, able to hold its own against that class of weapon thanks to its reliable damage output at any range. In fact, this weapon has a similar fire rate to the fast-cycling M13 – which also fires the 5.56 NATO ammo – but has significantly better range.

In essence, the Holger-26 is a weapon that may not show its best side at a low weapon level, but can turn into a versatile threat as you gain more attachments.

Blueprint Review

Of course, you can skip a few steps to unlocking some of the Holger-26’s most unique attachments by getting its weapon blueprint.

Available at Tier 85 in the Battle Pass, the Gilded Legendary Blueprint wraps this LMG in some swank brown print with gold and white accents. The fresh coat of paint is not only stylish, it’s also effective; the four attachments combine to be a boon towards your hip fire accuracy, aim down sight speed, movement speed, and even recoil control.

Plus, the Fully Loaded Perk ensures that there will be extra 30-round mags on your Operator without the need to pick up more around the map.

Call Of Duty: Mobile Brings Back Controller Support--With Some Changes

Call of Duty: Mobile launched with controller support, but it was hastily pulled from the game. At the time, Activision mobile VP Chris Plummer said it would continue to be tested with a select portion of players, and now the feature has returned. In an update, the company explained how the feature now works.

Right now the game only supports official PS4 DualShock 4 (except first-generation) and Xbox One controllers. It warns that using non-supported controllers could impact functionality, but further updates may add more controller support. Controllers only work during a match, so you need to use the native touch controls to navigate menus. You can modify your settings in the "Controller" section of the settings menu, which had previously been replaced with an "Other" section when the feature was yanked from the game.

You'll be matched up against other players using controllers, and touch users will be matched with other touch users. Plummer had previously indicated that if controller support came back, it would keep players separated this way in the interest of fairness and game balance.
