Activision Blizzard employees form first of its kind Game Workers Alliance Union

Activision Blizzard, the world's largest video game publisher, has been resisting efforts by its employees to form a union. But on Thursday, members of the company's Game Workers Alliance voted unanimously to become the first workers union in the industry. The union will represent nearly 10,000 employees at Activision Blizzard's studios around the world. "We are proud to be part of the movement of workers fighting for better conditions and decent pay," said union president Dave Limp says.
