The Internet didn't exist at all, it would have significant implications for society as a whole, and indirectly for me as well. Here are a few ways in which life might be different without the Internet:
Communication: Without the Internet, communication would be much slower and more limited. People would rely more on traditional methods such as letters, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions. Instant messaging, email, and social media as we know them wouldn't exist.
Information access: Access to information would be limited to physical sources such as books, newspapers, and magazines. Research would be more time-consuming and reliant on libraries and other physical resources.
Entertainment: Entertainment options would be different without streaming services, online gaming, and social media. People would rely more on traditional forms of entertainment like television, radio, and physical media (such as CDs and DVDs).
Commerce: Online shopping wouldn't exist, and people would have to rely on physical stores for purchasing goods. The global economy would function differently without e-commerce.
Education: Online learning platforms wouldn't exist, and education would be more reliant on traditional classroom settings and physical resources like textbooks.
Work: Remote work wouldn't be possible without the Internet, and many jobs that rely on online platforms and communication tools wouldn't exist. Businesses would operate differently, with more emphasis on physical offices and in-person interactions.
Overall, life without the Internet would be vastly different, with slower communication, limited access to information, and a different landscape for entertainment, commerce, education, and work.
