Prices for the new iPhone 11 will start from £729, slighty cheaper than last year's iPhone XR at £749. The device is available to pre-order on Friday, September 13 and will ship next week on Friday, September 20.

Apple usually releases its new phones for sale on the Friday after the launch event, which would be Friday September 20.

Some people think the iPhone 11 is still likely to cost around £999 in the UK though, which is a similar price to the iPhone XS.

The phones will reportedly have a triple camera system with a third sensor for ultra-wide angle photos and videos and a 3D rear-facing camera that should boost its augmented reality capabilities.

Low-light photo taking should also be improved and the cameras may rely on artificial intelligence to correct photos and enable the perfect shot.

Video recording is also rumoured to be improved and may come with new features, such as the ability to alter colours and re-frame and crop a live video recording.
